Walk to Cure Arthritis

Our family started Daddy’s Homemade Syrup in our Evergreen kitchen to bring clean, all-natural syrups to our community. But the deeper “why” behind our business is more personal than most people realize.

My husband, Dannie, was just 21 when he began experiencing seizures, migraines, and chronic joint pain. He was eventually diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis and Osteoarthritis—painful, lifelong diseases that he now manages through infusions, medications, and immense perseverance. His mother, an integral part of our business, lives with the same conditions—along with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

This year, we’ve formed Team Daddy’s Homemade for the Colorado Walk to Cure Arthritis with the Arthritis Foundation. We’re walking for Dannie, for his mom, and for the nearly 60 million Americans living with arthritis.
