The Origin of
McGraw Memorial Park
Edward and Blanche McGraw came to the Bailey area in the 1870s and opened the first grocery store, the Bailey Country Store, (now, the Sasquatch Outpost) on Main Street.  In 1969 their granddaughter, Helen McGraw Tatum, who was born in Bailey and lived here many years, donated the land for this Park to the Park County Historical Society.  The Park is for public enjoyment and historical information about the area.

The Park has undergone many developments over the years and is now the center of activity for the community and visitors to our area.

The historic buildings at the McGraw Memorial Park are open May through October
by chance or by appointment.
